C7100A1015 Averaging Duct Temperature Sensor
Platinum averaging duct sensor for matching W7100 discharge-air control applications.
Will this work with my system?
Match your equipment to these requirements before ordering.
Works with
- Honeywell W7100 discharge-air controller applications specifying C7100A.
System requirements
- A controller input matching the C7100A platinum resistance curve, nominally 3484 ohms at 77°F (25°C).
- Duct or plenum placement where the inlet openings sample representative airflow.
- Two recessed 1/4 in. quick-connect terminals and low-voltage sensor wiring.
Check before you buy
- Confirm the controller calls for C7100A; C7100B and C7100D use different resistance characteristics.
- Compare duct clearance, mounting flange and operating temperature with the product-data drawing and installation instructions.
- Keep sensor wiring away from inductive loads or follow the manual's shielded-cable requirements.

Overview
The Honeywell C7100A1015 samples duct air through openings in its probe and supplies a resistance signal to a matching controller. Honeywell identifies the C7100A family for W7100 discharge-air control.
Selection and installation
Match the C7100A platinum resistance curve to the controller input: nominal resistance is 3484 ohms at 77°F (25°C). The C7100B and C7100D variants have different resistance characteristics and cannot be selected by appearance alone.
Use the linked drawings to check probe clearance and flange placement. Locate the inlet openings in representative airflow, avoiding stratification. Follow the installation guide for mounting, low-voltage wiring, interference protection and checkout.
