Overview
The PRO1 R251S allows a compatible thermostat to measure indoor temperature away from its own mounting location. The exact-model submittal identifies the T755S, T855SH and T855iSH as supported thermostats.
The installation manual describes single-sensor operation and wiring arrangements for four, nine or sixteen sensors to obtain a temperature average. Select the layout and thermostat setup from the manufacturer instructions.
Mount in a location with representative room temperature and good air circulation, away from direct sun, ducts, drafts and heat-producing appliances. The manual specifies 18 AWG thermostat wire and a maximum 300-foot distance to the thermostat.
